Meet Old Al
Hello world. It’s me, Old Al, in my very best pair of orange toe shoes
I also lived in Los Angeles for 15 years, where I officially became Old, but that’s another tale.
In this present story I am showing you a bookcase stuffed with the most interesting and unusual books, and I absolutely insist that you bring some home with you to read.
You can take your time browsing, just mind the conspiracy of red ruffed lemurs underfoot. They’re my old college buddies and they’re not going anywhere. Please keep your distance. If you get too close they’ll do their yelling, and that’s on you…
Old Al’s Books is the first phase of my bookstore, which is raising funds to open a brick and mortar location named after my daughter: The Library of Alexandria. I’d like her to grow up in a bookstore. She can do whatever she wants after, but her childhood fate is books.
Okay, I’m gonna get back to hanging with the lemurs. You keep on browsing and just give a holler if you need anything.
