The Stanley Tools Division of the Stanley Works has been manufacturing folding rules and measuring instruments for 130 years. Today, rules are only a small part of the Stanley product line, but in 1854, when the Stanleys first became toolmakers, rules were their initial (and only) product.

This book comes from the collection of Edward Lebetkin, my father, and the proprietor of the antique tool store above Roy Underhill's Woodwright’s School in downtown Pittsboro, NC, which recently closed after a 14 year run. Good condition. Solid copy with clean pages & some shelf wear. Dust jacket has wear and chipping to the top edge. Light spotting to the edge of the page block.
