Purchased in Paris at a Brentano bookstore location, one of the most storied booksellers of the day, per the sticker to the back endpaper, and per the previous owner's inscription to the front fly leaf.

Good condition. Stains to the front cover. Tears to the cloth covering of the back cover, and chipping to the back cover top edge near the spine. Solid binding. Pages crisp. Light liquid stains to the bottom edge of the page block, presenting mostly to the first and last pages. Isolated small pencil marking to the frontispiece. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front fly leaf. Small bookseller sticker inside the back cover. Solid book with shelf wear.
