​Martha Thomson Sharp (1830–1847) was a young woman from Salem, New Jersey, whose devout Christian faith and pious life were documented by her pastor, Rev. James Isbell Helm. She passed away on May 12, 1847, at the age of 17. Her life and spiritual journey were considered exemplary, leading to the publication of her memoir to inspire others.​

Good condition. The cloth to the front hinge is flaked away and the spine is peeling but still attached. Pages foxed. Solid book with shelf wear.
