Harry Emerson Fosdick (1878–1969) was a Protestant minister and a leading voice for liberal Christianity in the early 20th century. He opposed fundamentalism, emphasized personal experience, social justice, and encouraged Christians to adapt their faith to modern knowledge and culture.
