Frank Lebby Stanton (1857–1927) became the first Poet Laureate of Georgia in 1925. He is remembered for his long association with the Atlanta Constitution, where he wrote the daily column "News from Billville" (later "Up from Georgia") for nearly 40 years.

Good condition. Fraying to the crown and foot of the spine. Isolated spot of damage to the cloth of the spine. Isolated marginal markings found to page 12. Solid book with shelf wear.
