Signed on the dedication page by Flossie, the late author's wife, on the occasion of her 100th birthday, underneath a taped in newspaper announcement for her birthday. Flossie was the daughter of Confederate Captain Moses Sarvis.
Also includes a newspaper article and obituary for Flossie who lived to 103.
