This book comes from the library of Dr. Dayton Livingston Kathan (1856-1937) of Schenectady, New York. Dr. Kathan graduated from the Albany Medical College in the class of 1886. He took a post-graduate course and served as an intern in the Albany Hospital, coming to Schenectady in 1887. He practiced medicine and surgery in that city since that time. He was connected with the Ellis Hospital for years.
