With great wealth comes great conspiracies.

The Rothschilds were the pre-modern times incarnation of the George Soroses, the Bill Gates, the Koch brothers, the IMFs, and on and on -- the ones accused of funding all the bad things. So what did they do? Well, single-handedly funding the British side of the Napoleonic Wars is one of the accusations. Financing the creation of the nation of Rhodesia to expand their mining enterprise is another greatest hit.

Where did the Rothschilds go? Books like this one perhaps led them to take a lighter touch, entrenching their activities under the warm blanket of incorporation. Start poking around and you too may find a Rothschild backed foundation doing something you approve/disapprove of.

Poor condition. (i.e. Not Wealthy). The rear hinge is broken and the back cover is no longer attached to the text block. The frontispiece, title page, and preface page are detached from the text block as well and loosely inserted. Despite these flaws, the book has been checked for completeness and is not missing any pages. It does hold together as the photos show. Previous owner name and markings inside the front cover. Interior pages foxed with some spotting. A complete book with major structural flaws.
