POOR condition. 1-inch of chipping to the top of the spine, and additional chipping at the bottom and hinges. Covers soiled and worn. Binding loose. Front fly leaf is cleanly torn out. No illustrations in the book, except for the frontispiece. Spotting to pages. Lots of folded page corners. 1 long horizontal tear found to page 51. A few previous owner markings to the margins, and previous owner's name inside the front cover. Book is complete. Antiquarian book in poor but readable condition.
