Gifted Christmas 1890 to Jessie Benton Hawkins Darragh by her mother when she was about 19 1/2 years old. Jessie's mother was Cynthia Hawkins Greenfield, wife of Colonel Alexander LeRoy Hawkins, 10th Pennsylvania Volunteers.

There is a full page of family history in the back among the color maps section. The Bible also comes with loosely inserted genealogical testimony written by a family member from a later generation, as well as a few other inserts.

Includes study aids in the back including concordance and color maps.

Acceptable. Gift inscription page detached from the binding. Binding is fraying but still intact. Bible has lots of wear and small markings throughout that do not obscure text.
