Vinciata was the professional name of Joseph Wallace King (1911–1996), an American artist known for his distinctive portrait and landscape paintings. Born in North Carolina, King developed the Vinciata style, characterized by its rich, classical, and often romanticized aesthetic. His works often featured soft textures, deep colors, and a European influence reminiscent of Renaissance and Baroque art.

Vinciata gained international recognition, with notable commissions including portraits of royalty, celebrities, and political figures. His work was highly sought after, particularly among collectors who appreciated his fusion of classical techniques with a modern sensibility.

Poor condition. The page block is complete separated from the hardcover casing. The covers are also soiled and slightly warped. Interior pages complete. A book in poor, salvage condition only notable for the signature of an important painter.
