Also included with the book is a New England Tool Collectors Association Scrapbook pamphlet by the same author titled "Drawknives, Drawing Knives & Draw Shaves: Names and Markings on American Made Examples."

From the front flap: "The results of the research conducted through the early part of 1997 have been compiled into 450 pages with over 360 black and white photographs, over 360 graphics including illustrations, diagrams, patent drawings and reproduced advertisements. Also included are 18 pages of color photographs."

This book comes from the collection of Edward Lebetkin, my father, and the proprietor of the antique tool store above Roy Underhill's Woodwright’s School in downtown Pittsboro, NC, which recently closed after a 14 year run. Acceptable condition. The page block has separated from the spine, but the book holds together well from the pastedowns. Binding is loose as a result. Light crease to the center of the dust jacket's front cover. Interior pages are crisp and clean.
