This book is in poor condition but not without its charm. The previous owner has corrected a misprint in the index for you. You'll find "Peas, boil-steamed" on page 287, not 387 as printed. I've checked and p. 287 is indeed where boil-steamed peas live.
Poor condition. Liquid damage/cooking stains to the interior pages causing staining and rippling. Dust jacket loose with heavy shelf wear. Previous owner's information and blind book stamp to the front fly leaf. Blind book stamp is also on the half-title page. Binding is okay. A heavily worn book in usable condition with a scarce signature.
