Doubleday & Company, 1930. Cloth bound hardcover with dust jacket protected in mylar of Peace in the Heart by Archibald Rutledge.
South Carolina's first poet laureate writes reflections on nature and how it can help us understand God's intention for us.
Poor condition. This book is a structurally sound, reading copy with the major flaws of having the front free end paper cleanly ripped away, and pen markings to the first few pages that do not obscure text. The markings seem to end by Chapter 2. Dust jacket price clipped and protected in mylar. Tape remnants to the dust jacket with some transfer to the end papers. Binding good and book is otherwise quite crisp in appearance.
