Erica Jane Publishing, 1989. Signed cloth bound illustrated hardcover published and printed in the UK. The author, Reg Eaton, has signed the title page under his printed name.
From the front flap: "The products of Sheffield [...] represent the cradle of the iron and steel industry. Tools stamped 'Sheffield' were synonymous with 'quality,' and generations of wheelwrights, coopers, cabinet makers, boatbuilders, joiners and other craftsmen were brought up to revere the name. This book is dedicated to just one of these "Sheffield Made" tools -- the Metallic-Framed Brace."
This book comes from the collection of Edward Lebetkin, my father, and the proprietor of the antique tool store above Roy Underhill's Woodwright’s School in downtown Pittsboro, NC, which recently closed after a 14 year run. I am selling many more books from my dad's shelves that he used to research his inventory. If you are a serious woodworker, check out my store for more wonderful titles like this one.
Good condition. Solid copy with clean pages & some shelf wear. Light spotting to the top of the page block.
